Our Senior Leadership Retreat will be held the weekend before Band Camp at Warm Beach. Team building and leadership education led by the directors in a beautiful setting.
Band Camp
Kick off the marching band season with this week-long day camp at MIHS. Bring your lunch, hat, instruments, and WATER!
All Island Band BBQ
Always the THURSDAY of BAND CAMP, this super fun BBQ is in the MIHS amphitheater - all band families welcome! Burgers, treats, games and more hosted by the MI Schools Band Boosters.

Marching Band Rehearsals
Often held on Thursday evenings before home games, rain or shine.
Home Games
MIHS typically hosts four home football games, mostly on Friday nights. Our Marching Band kicks it off with the "march down" from the school to the field, and performs in the stands as well as a halftime show. After the game is the "march up," followed by the fan-favoorite "5th Quarter" performance in the amphitheater.
All Island Band Night
Do not miss this tradition! On the final home game of the season, ALL band members are on the field from 5th grade playing Hot Cross Buns, middle school students, and the welcoming of the 8th graders into the stands for 3rd quarter, their new home when they become freshman.

Concert Band Intensive
Also knows as CBI, is an overnight music intensive with guest instructors.
Solo and Ensemble Contest
Different dates for middle school and high school, these are large juried events where students perform solo or in ensembles.

An incredible showcase of our music program delivering performances by all grades!
Eastshore Band Festivals
An all day event for 8th-12th grade students to perform and watch students from the Eastshore area.

Music for All Regional Wind Fest
Originally called the Larry Gookin Invitational, our Wind Ensemble performs for professional judges and their peers, then receives intensive, immersive instruction from a renowned musician.
