Fundraising
Mercer Island Band Boosters is, at its heart, a fundraising organization for support of our band program.
We raise these funds primarily through two annual events, Band Together and Band Camp BBQ. When the need arises, we will also have additional fundraising.
Uniform Angel Donors
Our uniform capital campaign is scheduled to launch next fall but you can help set up this campaign for a terrific start. Our first ask is for any 'Angel Donors' who might be willing to donate at a higher level (and be recognized). Band Together
Band Together is our premier event, a celebration of all things band. This event is a must attend for every band parent and member of our community of alumni and local band supporters. This single event raises the lions share of the funds we use to support the band program in so many ways.
Bandcamp BBQ
This fun event held in summer after one of the days of Band Camp is a fundraising BBQ that features hamburgers and fixin’s, salads, lemonade and shaved ice served by our illustrious Drum Majors. After a hard day of drill down and fun in the sun, this Band Camp BBQ is a great way for band kids and families to mix and mingle, hear some great music and wind down with friends on a summer evening.
